WORDS or SWORD?
Letter Jam is a game of deduction and team work. Can you spell out a nice clue from the letters you can see to help out the other players? Are you receiving clues that will allow you to spell a meaningful word out of letters you can never look at?
Players try to find words that can be made from the letters they see. The player with the best clue spells it by marking each of the letters in the word with numbered tokens. Your letter’s position in the clue helps you to guess what it might be.
How to Play
In the beginning of each round, players discuss, then choose a clue giver. Together, the players choose who gives the clue based on how many players the clue could help (and other factors).
The clue giver then takes a token off of the setup (flower) card. These tokens act as a timer in the game, if you end a round and have zero tokens remaining, the game is over.
Next, the clue giver spells out their word by placing numbered chip tokens. The first token marks the first letter of the word, the second marks the second letter, and so on. Players write the information on their guessing sheets.
At the end of the game everyone looks at their guessing sheet and tries to spell a word from their letters. Hopefully, the letters you guessed throughout the game are correct so you can successfully form a word for the final reveal!
